Dr. Mark Battles
Dr. Battles was born and raised in St. Paul Minnesota. There he enjoyed playing soccer, swimming at his local lake, and volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center. He grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, snakes, birds, and a snail.
After high school, he earned his B.S. in biology at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. After this, Dr. Battles attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA for veterinary school.
Following graduation, he completed a one year rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship in a specialty and emergency center at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital.
He enjoys skiing, spending time with his dog, Roo, fishing, cooking, and going to local breweries.
