Friends of Retired Greyhounds

Friends of Retired Greyhounds is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to working with kennel operators and other adoption groups to place retired greyhounds in responsible, loving homes. This organization works with veterinarians like ours to ensure that every dog adopted from FOR Greyhounds is vaccinated, and in general good health.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies

Animal Rescue of the Rockies is a non-profit Colorado corporation started in 2003 by a group of friends who wanted to provide an alternative to shelter environments. A.R.R. has successfully provided foster homes and subsequent permanent homes to over 10,000 dogs and cats so far. This group works with foster homes to give homeless pets the chance to socialize in a home environment, providing these animals an advantage when transitioning to their new forever homes.

Animal Rescue Groups

Many wonderful people have formed or joined animal rescue groups across Colorado, which focus on rescuing, fostering and adopting our pets to their forever homes. At Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital, we're very proud to offer free initial first exams to all the animals rescued by these fabulous groups.
