Dr. Massey
Dr. Massey was born and raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth region of Texas. She always had dogs and cats growing up, and also has rode horses since a young age, leading to a love and compassion for animals since childhood.
Dr. Massey joined her local chapter of FFA in high school, where she showed sheep and competed on the Vet Med Career Development team. She also began working in a small animal clinic in high school as a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant. This inspired her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Veterinary Animal Science at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She then moved to Madison, Wisconsin to earn her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin. While in her final year of veterinary school, Dr. Massey also got certified in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy.
Dr. Massey enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, but is especially passionate about feline medicine, nutrition and obesity management, and surgery. She is a certified Fear Free practitioner.
Dr. Massey travelled frequently to Colorado growing up, so after graduating veterinary school, she moved to the Denver area to start her career as a veterinarian. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, skiing, lifting weights, and jigsaw puzzles. She currently shares her home with her cats, Ammicca and Buttero.
