Dr. Arias
Dr. Arias was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida, where her love for animals began at a very young age. As she grew older, she developed a passion for science, which ultimately led her to explore a career in veterinary medicine. After shadowing a small animal veterinarian in Miami, she quickly fell in love with the profession and knew she had found the perfect path.
Dr. Arias earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Florida International University before continuing her education at the University of Georgia, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She is now excited to begin the next chapter of her career and call Denver, Colorado, her new home.
Growing up in a Spanish-speaking family, Dr. Arias understands firsthand how intimidating and stressful it can be to navigate veterinary care when language barriers exist. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where every client feels heard, understood, and comfortable. She looks forward to helping Spanish-speaking families, like her own, feel confident and supported while making decisions about their pets’ health. Dr. Arias has a special interest in preventative medicine, nutrition, and fear-free veterinary care.
Dr. Arias shares her home with her high school sweetheart and their two cats, Lucy and Bizarro. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Arias enjoys being outdoors (especially near the water), bowling, catching the latest movies in theaters, playing board games with friends, and curling up on the couch with a great TV series.
