Dr. Blackstone grew up on a farm in rural Western Nebraska surrounded by livestock and pets. At 12 years old, she decided she wanted to become a veterinarian.
After college, she was accepted by the Iowa State University veterinary medical program. She then moved to Missoula, MT where she worked in a small animal hospital.
Three years after moving north, she decided it was time to move closer to friends and family, and happily accepted an associate veterinarian position at Caring Hands.
