Dr. Nelson attended Michigan State University earning a bachelors degree in Animal Science in 1991
before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1995. Dr. Nelson
also attended Colorado State University for advanced graduate training in diagnostic anatomic
pathology.
Dr. Nelson began clinical practice in October of 1997 specializing in small and exotic
animal medicine and is also certified in veterinary medical acupuncture.
Ann and her husband share their home with children Brenna and Ethan, two
dogs, Hannah and Eddie Mac, and four cats, Rooster, Mara, Cashew and Smokey.
